Sunday tea

After an enjoyable walk the scouts cooked a tea of pork chops, broccoli, new potatoes with carrot and swede mash.
The leaders also tried to make roast potatoes in their oven!!

Exploring the castle

We stopped at the castle during the walk yesterday (Sun 30th July) for a look around.

Hiking

A solid day hike with a few heavy showers but on the whole a decent walk to castle ruins.

Stunning first morning

A beautiful first morning on camp. Warm sunny and a gentle breeze.

All slept well and full of English breakfast!

Flag break and a hike are order of the day!
